This is SO Chuzzlezort (Huge FUN)!
Today is National Lolipop Day, but I say no more sugar! Can’t we have any other fun WITHOUT sugar?
YES!!!
Activity: DIY Chalk Pops
I have never ever had the opportunity to MAKE homemade chalk. This looks like amazing fun. So I think we’ll just have to try it today.
I can remember when I was in fifth grade, we did a project with plaster of paris. I was hooked. But this looks like wild, crazy, amazing fun.
It is going to take a day to dry, so be prepared on the time element. Unless you live where we do, and everything dries in 4.3 seconds. LOL
Click Here for the Recipe from Project Nursery.
Supplies:
Plaster of Paris, tempura paint (neon works best), silicone pop mold, wood craft sticks, plastic cups and plastic spoons. You’ll also need cold water, scissors and measuring cups.
WARNING: Do not put Plaster of Paris down your drain!
Downloads from God – Journal Entry #17 – Fear
We are still working on our grateful heart. It seems like eons ago that we started the art journals. I cannot believe how fast July is moving. Is it just me? wow. FAST.
Today’s journal entry is all about fear. The Lord has been wrestling with me about this for days. I am excellent at skirting an issue that I would rather not talk about. He, on the other hand, is patient. So here we are.
Fear…..
David looked both the lion and the bear in the eye. These were the predecessors to Goliath. David won.
Daniel was betrayed by people he knew and won tickets to entertain hungry lions. Daniel won.
Moses stood before Pharoah and declared that the Israelites be set free. Moses won.
Why did they all win? It was WHO was standing behind them.
GOD
What situation has you in fear? You will only lose, if you have the wrong person standing behind you.
Remember that.
Journal well and trust God.
