In today’s issue:
- Rubberband Challenge
- Jumping Rubber Band Magic Trick
Today we celebrate the simplest of inventions. The Rubber Band.
I think about how many times a day I use this simple device. For holding hair back, all over the kitchen, holding bags of chips, pretzel, M&M’s closed, etc. I used at least 4 of them just this afternoon. It’s an AWESOME invention and it get’s no credit.
While rubber has been around for centuries, the rubber-band only began around 1820. Cheap, reliable, and strong, the rubber band is one of the world’s most ubiquitous products.
So today, we celebrate an everyday item with lots of uses.
Activity: Rubber Band Challenge
The rules are simple, string the rubber band behind your little finger to your thumb. Get it off only using that same hand. Piece of cake, right?
