- Olympic Playdough Kit
- Olympic Symbolism
Can you feel it? Summer is finally winding down. Many of our friends are back in school. I’m still holding on to the summer as much as I can. Next summer, I am totally going to make our fun a lot shorter. Maybe SPF 45. Once I start to smell the school year is near, the only fun I want to have is on the school supply aisle.
Today our fun is super colorful and extra squishy. Olympic Playdough. I’ve made it in all colors, but never quite like this. This is great for playing with while watching the Olympics. We’ve been glued to the screen the last few nights enjoying the swimming and gymnastics, but little ones can get tired of that. This should keep the fun going, even for them.
I have a friend with a six year old grand daughter that could win world records for how much she plays with play dough. So our plan is to make enough to share. I love how they are individually packed.
I found this amazing idea over at Craftstorming. Check it out here.
Olympic Symbolism
Since we are working on the colors of the Olympics, I figured we could cover the meaning behind the colors. I love this poster. Isn’t it great? It comes from the Educators Spin on it.
